It's FALL FOLIAGE season and the hiking is going to be spectacular.

Here in Arizona, autumn color starts in
the higher elevations during the last weeks of September and
concludes in the deserts in December. Stay tuned---as I'll be
heading out frequently to leaf peep for your viewing pleasure. To find fabulous foliage hikes on this blog, just click on the "fall color" link under the trail index.

Until
then, the following info may help you plan ahead.


Although PEAK color varies from
year-to-year, here's when I saw great color on some of the high country's
